CampusLoco Privacy Statement
Last updated August 6, 2026
Campus Loco, LLC ("CampusLoco," "we," "us," or "our") operates the CampusLoco mobile application and website at campusloco.com (collectively, the "Service").
CampusLoco is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any user's university, college, or other educational institution.
This Privacy Statement explains how CampusLoco collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Service. It is incorporated by reference into the CampusLoco Terms of Service.
1. Eligibility and Student Verification
CampusLoco is available only to individuals who are at least 17 years old and are active students at participating colleges or universities. If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must have reviewed and agreed to these terms and this Privacy Statement on your behalf, consistent with the CampusLoco Terms of Service. Individuals under 17 may not use the Service.
To register, you provide your college or university email address. CampusLoco, through its email delivery provider, sends a verification message to that address. You must open the verification link to complete registration.
Verification confirms that you control an email address at a participating institution. It does not confirm current enrollment, employment, or student status, and CampusLoco does not verify enrollment with any institution. Alumni, staff, former students, and others holding an eligible address may be able to complete verification.
Verification messages are sent only to approved institutional email domains associated with participating institutions. CampusLoco may periodically require re-verification.
2. Information We Collect
CampusLoco currently collects or maintains:
- institutional email address;
- internal user ID;
- gender;
- academic level;
- major;
- profile-completion date;
- last student-reverification date;
- account-update date; and
- location signals, while location access is enabled, as described in Section 3.
CampusLoco may also receive information voluntarily submitted through support, feedback, or Service features, including event or location requests as described in Section 4.
If you enable the optional Face ID or device-passcode app lock, that feature is handled entirely by Apple's authentication system on your device. CampusLoco does not receive or store your biometric data.
CampusLoco currently stores Service data in Supabase and may use a separate email-verification provider. CampusLoco does not currently use Supabase Storage buckets to store profile photos, documents, or other uploaded files. CampusLoco does not currently provide payment, marketplace, housing, dating, or health-related services.
3. Location Signals
Location features are optional and are controlled through your device settings.
CampusLoco requests Precise Location. Approximate Location cannot identify which venue you are near, so crowd features will not include you if Precise Location is off.
Location access is not required to use the Service. Without it you can still view the map and see participating locations, but crowd counts and group details will be hidden and you will not be included in any location's count.
When location access is enabled, CampusLoco checks your location when you arrive at or leave a CampusLoco map location, and occasionally while the app is open. A signal is recorded only when you are within a defined radius of a CampusLoco map location and that location is within its operating hours. CampusLoco does not collect location signals during the quiet period from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. in the local campus time zone, except that collection hours may vary during approved special events.
A recorded signal marks you as present at one location for up to two hours, or until you leave that location, whichever comes first. Each new signal replaces the previous one, so CampusLoco holds at most one current location per account and does not build a movement history. Expired signals are deleted automatically.
CampusLoco uses these signals, combined with signals from other users, to estimate how many students and groups are present at identified locations and to update aggregated map displays. CampusLoco does not use this feature for continuous real-time movement monitoring.
You may disable location access at any time in your device settings. Doing so will prevent crowd-counting features from including you.
4. Event and Location Requests
If you submit an event or location request through the Service, CampusLoco sends the details you enter — such as name, location, dates, description, and contact information — to our request-intake service, currently a Google Apps Script webhook connected to a Google Sheet. Contact information is required so the CampusLoco team can follow up on your request.
Do not include passwords, financial information, medical information, or other sensitive information in a request. CampusLoco does not automatically send your account email address along with a request.
5. Aggregated Map Information
CampusLoco combines signals from multiple users and permitted sources to create aggregated, crowdsourced, or estimated information.
Map locations such as events, bars, restaurants, buildings, or other venues are not an endorsement or recommendation by CampusLoco. Information such as operating hours, location, special events, discounts, and deals is not guaranteed by CampusLoco.
Crowd numbers and demographics at CampusLoco map locations are estimates based on the number of active CampusLoco users present. The Service does not account for other crowd traffic that may be occurring. No map location, business, organization, or event controls the crowd estimate or demographics shown for it. Estimates also depend on connectivity and network conditions, which can be unreliable depending on location.
A location-based activity display appears only when at least 30 users are present at that location.
CampusLoco suppresses, combines, or generalizes demographic categories when a category is too small, or could reasonably permit identification of an individual.
Map information may be incomplete, delayed, estimated, or inaccurate because of limited participation, device settings, permissions, connectivity, technical limitations, or other factors.
Sensitive locations. CampusLoco's map is limited to a curated catalog of locations added by CampusLoco administrators for each campus. Because attendance at certain places can itself be sensitive information, administrators may decline to add, or may remove, generalize, or decline to publish, locations. This may include medical or counseling services, religious organizations, political demonstrations, support groups, organizations serving at-risk populations or communities targeted by hate groups, or other sensitive activities. Where such a location is included, it remains subject to the same minimum-group and demographic-suppression protections described above.
6. Demographic Information and Venue Insights
CampusLoco uses gender, academic level, major, and related profile information to create aggregated map displays and audience insights.
The Service may show aggregated counts for users who identify as male, female, or who have not stated a gender.
CampusLoco does not use demographic information to discriminate against users, or to determine an individual user's eligibility, access, ranking, or treatment.
Aggregate activity records CampusLoco records aggregate hourly activity for each map location, including peak crowd size and the group summary at that peak. These records do not contain any user identifiers and describe locations, not people. They are retained for up to 13 months and are not affected by deletion of an individual account, because they cannot reasonably be used to identify anyone.
A record is created only when a location's crowd meets the same minimum thresholds used elsewhere in the Service. Smaller figures are never recorded.
Venue insights CampusLoco may share aggregated activity and audience insights with participating venues, event organizers, and campus partners so they can understand general patterns at their own location. Any insight shared is subject to the same minimum group-size protections applied elsewhere in the Service.
Venue partners do not receive access to CampusLoco systems or to any individual-level information. CampusLoco does not provide individual user profiles, internal user identifiers, email addresses, movement histories, or location trails to venue partners, and does not respond to requests for information about a named individual.
Venue partners may not use CampusLoco information for unlawful discrimination, re-identification, individual tracking, or targeting of identified users.
CampusLoco does not display third-party advertising in the Service and does not use personal information for targeted advertising.
CampusLoco does not sell personal information and does not use it for cross-context behavioral or third-party advertising. Aggregate activity records and venue insights, described above, are generated only from de-identified, aggregated data that CampusLoco takes reasonable measures to ensure cannot reasonably be linked back to any individual, and CampusLoco does not attempt to re-identify it.
7. Notifications
Notifications are optional and controlled through your device and account settings.
Routine push notifications are not currently enabled. If notification features are introduced, CampusLoco may process information necessary to deliver them, such as notification preferences and device notification tokens.
You may disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
8. Third-Party App and Website Connections
The Service may include links or buttons such as "Connect with Uber."
When selected, a link may open a third-party application, website, registration page, or app-store page. The third party may receive technical information necessary to process the link or referral.
CampusLoco does not intentionally transmit your profile, gender, academic level, major, or individual location history through a standard app-opening link unless separately disclosed and authorized.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy statements. CampusLoco does not control or endorse their quality, reliability, safety, security, or privacy practices.
9. How We Use Information
CampusLoco may use information to:
- verify student eligibility;
- operate and secure accounts;
- collect location signals you have authorized;
- generate aggregated map counts and demographic displays;
- generate aggregate hourly activity records and prepare venue insights;
- process event and location requests you submit;
- provide notifications;
- improve the Service;
- prevent fraud and abuse;
- respond to support requests; and
- comply with law.
CampusLoco does not provide venue partners with individual movement histories or individual user-level location trails.
10. Cookies and Similar Technologies
CampusLoco does not use cookies on its website or in its mobile application.
CampusLoco may use necessary device or application functionality to maintain sessions, remember settings, support security, or operate the Service. These functions are not intended to create cross-site advertising profiles.
11. Service Providers
CampusLoco may use providers for hosting, database, authentication, email verification, security, communications, technical support, and infrastructure.
CampusLoco currently uses Supabase and will review and maintain appropriate contractual arrangements with service providers where required, including Supabase's applicable Data Processing Addendum, available at supabase.com.
12. Retention and Deletion
You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Open Settings and select Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account, profile answers, verification records, access records, and location-participation data. Deletion is immediate and does not require contacting CampusLoco.
Deleting your CampusLoco account does not cancel any subscription purchased through an app store. Manage subscriptions through your app-store account settings.
Separately, CampusLoco's annual deletion process begins July 1 and is intended to remove any remaining individual account, profile, verification, map, location-related, demographic, notification-related, and other account-linked records. After that process, users must re-register and complete verification to continue using the Service.
Individual information may remain temporarily in provider-managed backups, security records, fraud-prevention records, dispute records, or legally required records. CampusLoco does not use backup copies for ordinary operations, advertising, analytics, or user tracking.
CampusLoco retains aggregated or anonymized information that cannot reasonably be used to identify an individual, including the aggregate activity records described in Section 6.
13. Security
CampusLoco uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information.
No system is completely secure, and CampusLoco cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, altered, disclosed, or destroyed through unauthorized means.
14. Privacy Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of, or opt out of certain uses of your personal information.
California residents, and residents of other states or countries with similar laws, may have additional rights, including rights to access, correction, deletion, and portability of personal information; to appeal a denied request; and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale or sharing of personal information, or certain profiling. As described in Section 6, CampusLoco does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Requests may be submitted to support@campusloco.com with the subject "Privacy Request." CampusLoco may verify the requester's identity before responding, and will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
15. Changes and Contact
CampusLoco may update this Privacy Statement from time to time. Material changes may be communicated through the Service, by email, or by another reasonable method, and the "Last Updated" date will be revised.
Questions or privacy requests may be sent to:

CampusLoco Terms of Service
Last updated August 5, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CampusLoco mobile application, the website at campusloco.com, and related software, content, map features, notifications, location-based features, and services (collectively, the "Service").
The Service is operated by Campus Loco, LLC ("CampusLoco," "we," "us," or "our"), a South Carolina limited liability company.
CampusLoco is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any user's university, college, or other educational institution.
These Terms and the CampusLoco Privacy Statement, which is incorporated by reference, are presented to you before you register. By selecting the option to continue registration, or by otherwise accessing or using the Service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and Verification
To use the Service you must:
- be at least 17 years old;
- have an email address issued by a participating college or university;
- complete email verification; and
- provide accurate and current information.
If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. Individuals under 17 may not use the Service.
To register you must provide an approved college or university email address. CampusLoco, through its email delivery provider, sends a verification link to that address. You must open that link to complete registration.
Verification confirms that you control an email address at a participating institution. It does not confirm current enrollment, employment, or student status, and CampusLoco does not verify enrollment with any institution. Alumni, staff, former students, and others holding an eligible address may be able to complete verification.
CampusLoco may require re-verification periodically. Access may be suspended or terminated if your email address becomes invalid, you provide inaccurate information, or you otherwise cease to meet these requirements.
2. Account Management and User Responsibility
You are responsible for your account and for all activity conducted through it, including:
- protecting your credentials and verification links;
- maintaining accurate account information;
- controlling access to your device and account;
- managing your notification and location permissions;
- notifying CampusLoco of unauthorized access; and
- ensuring your activity complies with these Terms and applicable law.
You may not share, sell, transfer, rent, sublicense, or give another person access to your account without CampusLoco's written permission.
CampusLoco is not responsible for losses resulting from your failure to secure your account, manage your permissions, or monitor your account activity.
3. Location Signals and Notifications
Location features are optional and are controlled through your device settings.
CampusLoco requests Precise Location. Approximate Location cannot identify which venue you are near, so crowd features will not include you if Precise Location is turned off.
No location signals are collected during the quiet period from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. in the campus time zone. Collection hours may vary for approved special events.
A recorded signal marks you as present at one location for up to two hours, or until you leave that location, whichever comes first. Each new signal replaces the previous one, so CampusLoco holds at most one current location per account and does not build a movement history. Expired signals are deleted automatically.
These signals are combined with signals from other users to estimate how many people are at a location and to update aggregated map information. CampusLoco does not perform continuous real-time movement monitoring.
CampusLoco may request notification permission. Routine push notifications are not currently enabled. If notification features are introduced they will be optional and controlled through your device settings.
You may change location or notification permissions at any time in your device settings. Doing so may prevent related features from working.
4. Aggregated Map Information
CampusLoco combines signals from multiple users and permitted sources to produce aggregated, crowdsourced, and estimated information.
Map locations such as events, bars, restaurants, buildings, and other venues are not an endorsement or recommendation by CampusLoco. Information such as operating hours, addresses, special events, discounts, and deals is not guaranteed.
Crowd numbers and group details are estimates based only on CampusLoco users who are present with location enabled. They do not reflect total attendance, and they do not account for people who are not using the app. No venue, business, organization, or event controls the estimate shown for it.
Estimates also depend on device settings, permissions, connectivity, and network conditions, any of which may be unreliable.
A crowd count is displayed for a location only when at least 30 CampusLoco users are present there. Displayed counts are rounded and capped.
CampusLoco suppresses demographic categories when any group within that category is too small to be shown without risking identification of an individual.
Map information may be incomplete, delayed, estimated, or inaccurate. You should not rely on it as the sole basis for safety, transportation, emergency, medical, financial, or other important decisions.
5. Demographic Information and Venue Insights
CampusLoco may use gender, academic level, major, and related profile information to produce aggregated group summaries shown in the Service.
The Service may display aggregated counts for users who identify as male, female, or who have not stated a gender.
CampusLoco does not use demographic information to discriminate against users, or to determine any individual user's eligibility, access, ranking, or treatment.
Aggregate activity records CampusLoco records aggregate hourly activity for each map location, including peak crowd size and the group summary at that peak. These records contain no user identifiers and describe locations rather than people. They are retained for up to 13 months and are not deleted when an individual account is deleted, because they cannot reasonably be used to identify anyone.
An aggregate record is created only when a location's crowd meets the same minimum thresholds applied in the app. Smaller figures are not recorded at all.
Venue insights CampusLoco may provide aggregated activity and audience insights to participating venues, event organizers, and campus partners so they can understand general patterns at their own location. Any insight is subject to the same minimum group-size protections applied in the Service.
Venue partners do not receive access to CampusLoco systems or to any individual-level information. CampusLoco does not provide individual user profiles, internal user identifiers, email addresses, movement histories, or location trails, and does not respond to requests for information about a named individual.
Venue partners may not use CampusLoco information for unlawful discrimination, re-identification, individual tracking, or targeting of identified users.
CampusLoco does not display third-party advertising in the Service and does not use personal information for targeted advertising.
6. Acceptable Use
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:
- violate any law, regulation, school policy, or third-party right;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or student status;
- harass, threaten, stalk, defraud, exploit, intimidate, discriminate against, or harm another person;
- upload malware, malicious code, spam, or harmful material;
- submit false, misleading, defamatory, unlawful, or infringing content;
- use another person's personal information without authorization;
- scrape, crawl, harvest, copy, download, index, or extract information from the Service except through features expressly provided;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service;
- bypass security controls or access restrictions;
- interfere with the operation or security of the Service;
- use the Service to develop a competing service;
- facilitate fraud, illegal transactions, or other misconduct; or
- use the Service in a way that could expose CampusLoco or others to liability or harm.
CampusLoco may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, restrict access, suspend or terminate accounts, and cooperate with law enforcement.
7. Prohibited Data Use and Sharing
You may not collect, copy, download, reproduce, disclose, publish, distribute, sell, license, transfer, commercialize, or otherwise share any data obtained from or through the Service ("CampusLoco Data"):
- for your own commercial gain;
- for the benefit of a third party;
- for advertising, marketing, profiling, solicitation, recruiting, lead generation, resale, or commercial exploitation;
- to identify, contact, track, or monitor users outside the Service; or
- in violation of law, privacy rights, or these Terms.
CampusLoco Data includes account, profile, demographic, map, location, message, usage, analytics, identifier, and derived information.
This restriction applies whether data is obtained manually, automatically, through an interface, by screenshot, through an export, by scraping, or through another user or third party.
8. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit through the Service ("User Content").
You grant CampusLoco a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, process, modify, display, distribute, and use User Content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and promote the Service.
You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to provide User Content and that it does not violate these Terms, applicable law, or another person's rights.
You are solely responsible for your User Content. CampusLoco does not endorse or guarantee User Content.
9. CampusLoco Property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, logos, text, graphics, interfaces, databases, and compilations, is owned by or licensed to CampusLoco.
Subject to these Terms, CampusLoco grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.
You may not use CampusLoco's name, trademarks, logos, or branding without written permission.
10. Third-Party Links and Services
The Service may include links or buttons to third-party services such as ride, delivery, transit, and ticketing providers.
Selecting one may open a third-party application, website, or app-store page. The third party may receive technical information necessary to process the link or referral.
CampusLoco does not transmit your profile, gender, academic level, major, or location history through these links, except that a transit handoff includes the destination needed for the requested route.
CampusLoco does not own, operate, control, or endorse third-party services. A link does not imply endorsement of a third party's quality, reliability, safety, security, privacy practices, products, or services.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy statements. CampusLoco is not responsible for third-party content, conduct, events, transportation, ticketing, privacy practices, transactions, losses, or damages.
11. Free Service and Future Charges
The Service is currently free. CampusLoco may introduce paid features, subscriptions, or other charges in the future.
CampusLoco will present applicable pricing, subscription length, and payment terms before any charge is made. Any purchase made through an app store is processed by that store under its own terms, and subscriptions are managed through your app-store account.
CampusLoco does not currently operate a marketplace, process user-to-user payments, or provide housing, dating, or health services.
12. Privacy, Account Deletion, and Data Retention
The CampusLoco Privacy Statement explains our information practices.
Separately, CampusLoco runs an annual deletion process beginning July 1 that removes account-linked records. After that process, users must register again and complete verification to continue using the Service.
CampusLoco uses Supabase as a hosting and infrastructure provider and a third-party provider for verification email delivery.
Limited copies may remain in provider-managed backups or system records in accordance with applicable infrastructure, security, legal, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or backup-retention requirements. Those copies are not used to restore deleted accounts and expire under the provider's retention schedule.
CampusLoco retains aggregated and anonymized information that cannot reasonably be used to identify an individual, including the aggregate location records described in Section 5.
13. Service Availability and Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."
CampusLoco does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, accurate, complete, error-free, or continuously available.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CampusLoco disclaims all express, implied, statutory, and other warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, title, and non-infringement.
You use the Service, map estimates, location features, and third-party services at your own risk.
The Service is not a substitute for emergency, medical, legal, financial, academic, transportation, or professional advice, and must not be used for emergency purposes.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CampusLoco and its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, licensors, service providers, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, opportunity, or business.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CampusLoco's total liability for all claims relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed US$100.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
15. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CampusLoco and its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, licensors, service providers, and partners from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:
- your use of the Service;
- your account activity;
- your User Content;
- your violation of these Terms or applicable law;
- your violation of another person's rights;
- your interactions with users or third parties; or
- your misuse or unauthorized sharing of CampusLoco Data.
16. Suspension and Termination
CampusLoco may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, cease to meet the eligibility requirements, create risk or liability, or engage in harmful conduct.
You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account as described in Section 12.
Upon termination your right to use the Service ends immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including Sections 7, 8, 9, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, and 20.
17. Class-Action Waiver
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you and CampusLoco agree that any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms must be brought only in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff, class member, or representative in any class, collective, consolidated, or representative action.
Nothing in this section limits any right that cannot lawfully be waived. If any part of this section is found unenforceable, that part will not apply, and the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.
These Terms do not require arbitration.
18. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except to the extent superseded by federal law or by non-waivable law of the state where you reside.
Any legal action relating to these Terms or the Service must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Berkeley County, South Carolina, subject to applicable law. Nothing in this section deprives you of any right to bring a claim in small claims court or in a venue required by non-waivable law where you reside.
19. Apple App Store Terms
These Terms are between you and Campus Loco, LLC only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). CampusLoco, not Apple, is solely responsible for the Service and its content.
Your license to use the Service on an Apple-branded device is a non-transferable license to use it on any Apple-branded product that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules, except that the Service may be accessed by other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services for the Service.
If the Service fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the Service, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are CampusLoco's sole responsibility.
CampusLoco, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the Service, including product liability claims, claims that the Service fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
CampusLoco, not Apple, is responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any third-party claim that the Service infringes that third party's intellectual property rights.
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance Apple will have the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
20. General Provisions
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
No waiver. CampusLoco's failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of its right to do so later.
Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Statement are the entire agreement between you and CampusLoco regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreement on that subject.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without CampusLoco's written consent. CampusLoco may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
Force majeure. CampusLoco is not liable for any delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including outages, network failures, acts of god, or actions of third-party providers.
Electronic communications. You consent to receive communications from CampusLoco electronically, including by email and through the Service, and agree that electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that a communication be in writing.
Headings. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
21. Changes and Contact
CampusLoco may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the Service, by email, or by another reasonable method, and the "Last Updated" date will be revised. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
